The JS1200 is a JS series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2004. It is a signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani which was produced in Japan by FujiGen.The JS1200 is similar to the JS1000 model introduced a decade earlier, but has some small refinements, including the new DiMarzio PAF Joe neck pickup specially developed for Joe Satriani. Another eye-catching feature is the Candy Apple finish with matching headstock. It features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers.
